iPhone: Apple could abandon Google to Baidu in China

Market strategic major for its future, China produces a large number of Apple news. The last involves the abandonment of the integration of default Google in the iPhone for the benefit of Baidu, the local search engine. A new surprising when we know that Apple does it all to become a partner of China Mobile, the largest operator in the world with 670 million customers.
Baidu, four times more potent than Google in China
While Apple could give up Google Maps to its own mapping service at the launch of iOS 6, is that the creator of the Mac would achieve another infidelity to his compatriot in China. Such a choice is however more than rational, for two reasons.
The first is that Baidu is far the most used search engine in China. With more than three-quarters of the market of the latest research, Baidu crushes competition, Google capturing less than 20% of the market, and Bing the crumbs left by the two leaders.
A natural choice to the leader
The second is that such a choice is not reason to create a diplomatic incident with Google. Mozilla, partner "history" of Google via its flagship Firefox browser, thus did not hesitate to unfaithfulness in Russia. Firefox has thus abandoned Google in this country for the benefit of Yandex, the undisputed leader in Russia.
Rest that for the moment, Google remains a key partner in most of the countries of the globe for Firefox for Apple. The Russia like China are, however, countries with real importance today. For Google, the shortfall is not negligible, as in recent years, its influence in these two countries fell to the profits of local leaders. This is therefore not appropriate for change.
